On July 12, 2013 Mechery Family members formed a trust called "Kannagath Mechery Family Trust", which was inagurated by Bishop Mar James Pazhayattil. There is a general gatheing of all members of the family in September of every year. It is a full day program starting with Holy Mass commemorating the demised members of the family followed by official meeting with chief guests, cultural progras of the
family members. As of 2014, there are 74 family members in the Mechery Trust.
